I was recommended to come try the food by my fiances boss, and I couldn’t be any more happier with the food. It was my first time ever having Ethiopian food and I had ordered the ChaCha (I think) and their spiced tea, which the owner had recommended. I had asked to substitute with beef instead of lamb and the meat was seasoned so well I didn’t realize there was lamb ribs also in the dish. I wasn’t even mad lol. I’ll definitely be back
The food is a 10/10 Ethiopia dish expirience. Flavorful, well served and satisfying. The portions are good too. The interior could use a little work match the food and service.

Sora is an absolute gem & well worth the wait. The fact that it’s often packed with locals on a strip full of Ethiopian restaurants tells you everything you need to know. Service is generally good but if they’re slow take the opportunity to soak in the atmosphere & be transported to Ethiopia. Portions are generous and very fairly priced (especially the platters).

Sora Restaurant is fantastic! The food was excellent—especially the kutfu, which I 100% recommend trying. Every bite was delicious. Our server, Messi was amazing! She was so kind, friendly, and attentive, making the experience even better.We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!
Great food, great music, great people! A jewel of Toronto indeed. Consistently delicious, executed superbly and reasonably priced. Our group had lamb, chicken and beef, and also ceremony coffee. All perfection.
